glasshouse salon

rachel boston

Rachel Boston’s artisan jewellery showroom is grounded with earthy tones and textiles. Clay plaster, natural silver stone and a raw silk screen lend the space a feel of intimacy and timelessness. Interior design by Hollie Bowden was blended with studio hako’s ideals of wabi sabi.

COS

Set design and construction for COS in collaboration with photographers Hart Lëshkina and set designer Sophie Durham. Taking reference from traditional Japanese interiors, the design integrated elements of white washed birch ply and latticed shoji rice paper screens.

belgravia

Housed in a historic setting, this office space fulfils its role as both contemporary office and entertaining space. This project revolved around uncovering, restoring and enlivening the inherent features of the building, from beam restoration, complex plasterwork and Belgian iron hearth.

ascolour

The AS Colour project was a build of precision. Embodying the Japanese aesthetic of Geido – discipline, white tiles descended in flawless lines and exact geometric shapes highlighted uncompromising talent of our craftsmen. Rived oak paneling, mortex floor, wide doors and windows created a sense of light and space.

tanner krolle

The flagship showroom draws upon the tactile nature of its products in a Grade II listed building. Working with interior designer Hollie Bowden, the space features reclaimed timber floors from a French church, bespoke lighting from Vabizzuno, linen-wrapped display shelves and hand-forged bronze work for the Giacometti-inspired display shelving.

show RCA

Art installation construction for Royal College of Art degree show.  Taking the concept of ‘interior architecture,’ the install comprised of a building a partition wall giving way to a darkened space for video projection. The acute angle of the wall and tall elongated doorway entrance created a dynamic warping of space and scale.
